We do not recommend POP e-mail accounts. Why? POP was ok in the past. Today you use multiple devices, your need for all your information synchronized is available only with IMAP. Also, you can get full access to your e-mail history in minutes in a new device. Don´t compromise your information in only one device, since it could be in Emolus cloud.

Both POP3 and IMAP are protocols used between mail clients and email servers to access messages. These protocols allow people to use programs like Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail and mobile devices to manage their email. The way these protocols work, however, is very different.

IMAP	POP
Synchronizes messages and folders between the mail client and the server, also keeps track of message status and conveniently synchronizes messages as read or unread across all connected computers and devices. Suggested for working on multiple computers and devices.	Downloads messages off the server to the mail client in your device. Suggested for users who only use one machine.
